The goal of the survey is to identify the number of students in higher education institutions in Lviv and the feature of distributing graduates in terms of training and educational qualification levels; determine the share of international students who get education in the city.
Over the past few years, many important changes have taken place in many Ukrainian cities: the local self-government institute has developed, autonomous solar power stations have been established, the practice of sorting garbage is gradually introduced, cycle tracks are being built, etc.
During following 18 months the team from Lviv will represent the city in the “Enabling Local Democracy and Holistic Urban Development through the SymbioCity Approach” Programme. It’s one of 6 supported by the Swedish organizations SIDA and ICLD in cooperation with SKL International.
The research objective is to define the actual quantity of students in the Lviv higher education establishments; to identify the features of the graduate distribution according to specialities of an educational-proficiency of their higher education; to count the part of foreign students in the total quantity of all students.
